Sésu, (Brigitte Sésu Tilley-Gyado) is a British-Nigerian Musician and Writer. She studied Spanish and Portuguese Literature at Cambridge University. Sésu’ s soothing poetic musical style draws from the influence of folk, jazz, soul, world, pop and classical music. She has performed with the likes of the legendary Hugh Masakela, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Richard Baker, London Afrobeat Collective, and Adesose Wallace in Europe and Africa’s greatest live music venues, embassies and festivals including Midem, the Royal Ball in Monaco and the Belgian-Dutch Royal Wedding in Switzerland. Onidodo is Sésu’s adaptation of a traditional Yoruba folk song that tells the story of a scuffle in Lafiaji market between two hawkers, a dodo (fried plantain) seller, and a moin moin(bean cake) seller.
