Our Many Thanks

They came

With bags and luggage’s

Load and loads

Brushing off the morning dew

from the bosom of the grass

Invading privacy

with missions untold

We served

with all our hearts

We gave our best

expecting no less

in return

Yet our hearts were broken

Dreams were shattered

They left us

in perpetual confusion

With no self to live up to

They gave us one and took our three

As an emblem of their gratitude
