Entertainment Review: Mo and the Dark Nights

Mo and the Dark Knights is a 10 piece band consisting of talented artists from Soweto, with a symphonic sound influenced by  Funk, R&B, Kwaito, Hip Hop, Rock to Soul. Their music can be described as  Alternative Funk Rock Soul.  Lyrically their musical inspires you to dance.  Their song take you on an emotional journey to revive your mood. Through their music, Mo and the Dark Knights  enlighten, inspire, rejuvenate and entertain crossing cultural,  racial and generational divides. See them perform and your life will change. Mo & The Dark Knights bring the word new to old school. Their electrifying stage presence and music saw them rise in 2008 performing in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Band’s lead singer received his Honours degree, Cum Laude in musical performance from the  South African School of Film & Drama (AFDA JHB).  He is a seasoned entertainer. They have shared the stage with American hip hop group Public Enemy at the Thesis Social Jam Session in Soweto 2011. Mo the lead singer has backed Artist such as Hugh Masekela, Kabelo Mabalane, Deborah Frasier  in South Africa. They are currently part of the Top 12 bands in South Africa in line to open for the Legendary Usher Raymond from the USA in Hansa Pilsener search for a band Festival of the Legends competition.   “Experience our passion for our music.
